Our Story

 

Braxomire started with two people and a shared love for beautiful homes. Back on 6 September 2006, Jelle and Engelina Ehlhardt opened a small shop on Landstraat in Bussum, a charming town in the Netherlands, filled with home accessories and gift items they had picked out themselves. What began as a local shop where neighbours stopped by for a vase, a lamp or a thoughtful present has grown over the years into the online store you see today.

 

For almost two decades, we have been doing what we enjoy most: helping people make their homes feel like their own. We have always believed that a home does not need to be perfect to be beautiful. It needs pieces that feel right, that are comfortable to live with and that tell a little bit about the people who live there.

Every item in our collection is selected with the same care we put into our very first shop. We look for pieces that are well made, easy to combine and pleasant to live with for years, not just for one season.

 

Still a Family Business

 

Even though a lot has changed since 2006, some things have stayed exactly the same. Braxomire is still run by Jelle and Engelina, and we still care about every order as if you were standing in our shop in Bussum.
